Wild Chapo 2 Slot Review

Relax Gaming introduced us to a highly volatile Mexican outback with plenty of potential back in 2021 with the original Wild Chapo. The first outing was incredibly popular and the slot’s success led to Wild Chapo Dream Drop the following year. Now we get a full sequel with Wild Chapo 2.

The Mexican theme remains as fun as ever, with animated visuals that light up the screen on every spin. Chapo’s buddies are back too, delivering wild respins, wild multipliers and free spins. You’re even treated to an upgraded maximum potential of 20,000x.

But is Wild Chapo 2 the sequel we’ve all been waiting for? Read our full review below to find out.

Wild Chapo 2 Bonus Features

Relax Gaming doesn’t really try to reinvent the wheel with Wild Chapo 2. The slot’s features pretty much mirror those found in the original, although they deliver a bigger punch. Wilds take centre stage, with wild respins in the base game providing most of the action. The feature gets taken to the next level with free spins, where the wild multiplier can be substantially increased, delivering wins close to the 20,000x maximum win potential.

It’s a satisfying set of features, with a great loop that pumps excitement and potential into both the base game and free spins.

Wilds

One of the most crucial symbols in Wild Chapo 2, wild symbols still perform their basic function of stepping in for missing pay symbols that could form a winning combination. But that’s just the start.

Whenever they form part of a winning combination, wild symbols are locked onto the reels, triggering a respin. The locked symbols carry a number between 1 to 5, indicating the number of wild wins that need to be hit before the wild symbol can be collected. With every wild win, the number decreases until it hits 0. Any wilds that get collected are stored beneath their respective reel, and each extra collected wild increases the wild multiplier by +1.

Respins end when there are no more recurring wild wins. Once respins end, you get a final spin, where all collected wilds cover their respective reels. Any wins you get with more than one wild multiplier have their values added together for an even bigger payout.

Scatter Symbol

Badge scatter symbols unlock the way to free spins. A minimum of 3 symbols are needed to trigger the bonus segment, although landing additional symbols extends your bonus time. 3, 4, 5 or 6 symbols trigger 7, 10, 15 or 25 free spins.

Free Spins

The gameplay in free spins builds on the wild respins found in the base game. This time around, locked wilds remain in place for the duration of free spins. This gives you a better chance of collecting wilds and increasing wild multipliers across all reels. Any scatter symbols you land during the bonus add an extra free spin.

Once free spins run out, you go through a final spin, expanding all collected wilds across the reels and triggering their respective multiplier. With the chance to collect so many wild symbols, this is the best chance you get to land big wins and reach the 20,000x maximum win potential.

Wild Chapo 2 Jackpot

There are no dedicated jackpot prizes in Wild Chapo 2, although you could still walk away with some huge wins thanks to the slot’s 20,000x maximum win cap.

RTP & Volatility

Wild Chapo 2 is highly volatile. It means that although wins are hard to come by their rewards are incredibly high too. Return to player rate is quite decent too, sitting at an average 96.10%. And if you’d like even more guarantee, hit some slots with highest RTP.

Where to Play Wild Chapo 2

Relax Gaming is a popular game provider, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding an online casino to play Wild Chapo 2 at. But although you’ll find loads of great sites to play at, we recommend heading over to Playluck, where you’ll be able to enjoy a great selection of the provider’s best releases.
