Yes, I would recommend this Playtech slot for the Christmas fun it brings, although there are far better high volatility options out there.

Tree Wishes’ base game felt quite bland, even though the stacked wild symbols went a long way in putting together wins and bringing more action to each spin. Luckily, scatter symbols landed quite often during my playthrough, so much so that I managed to trigger the star drop bonus twice in the span of 100 base game spins.

The star drop bonus itself is a lot of fun, and I managed to activate the wheel bonus, too, which gave me another go at the bonus mode (though I never got any of the jackpot prizes). I also have to mention how helpful the turbo mode and autoplay functions are. They speed up the spins considerably and I used the infinite autoplay feature to keep spinning until the bonus feature triggered.

The math model is my biggest concern here. With a high level of volatility, the 95.87% RTP isn’t quite up to scratch. What makes matters worse though is the relatively low max win at 1,132x your stake. Sure, you can cap your bets at £500, but a bad streak at such high bet levels can quickly run through your gambling budget.
