You won’t even find any wild symbols here, despite the slot’s ironic theme. Wilds
There are no Wild symbols included in Rock Vegas. We seem to think that they would have fit in well with the slot’s prehistoric theme, but alas – there will be no substituting of pay symbols this time around.
Scatter Symbol
Represented by rock symbols with the words ‘Bonus’ sharply written on them, Scatter symbols land during the base game. Their presence ignites your hopes of being elevated to the slot’s bonus feature, but you’ll need a minimum of 3 symbols to do so.
Respins
Once the required number of Scatter symbols have been collected, the reels disappear, only to be replaced by a 10×10 grid. This bonus grid only accepts the coloured rock symbols that define the bonus rounds. You’ll get a selection of blue, green, yellow, pink and red rocks that carry with them a 0.1x, 0.2x, 0.4x, 0.6x and 1x value respectively. Activating the bonus with 3 scatter symbols will put all rocks in play. Additionally, 4 scatter symbols will remove the blue symbols, while 5 scatter symbols will remove both blue and green symbols. The removal of these low paying rocks means you can generate better wins with the remaining symbols.
The bonus functions like any regular Hold and Spin feature. Players start out with 3 re-spins, which reset whenever a rock lands on the grid. Landing rocks are locked in and the grid spins once more to lock in additional symbols. The feature plays on until the grid is covered in rock symbols or all re-spins run out.
Cluster Symbols
Some symbols may land in clusters of 2×2 and 3×3. Whenever they do, the symbols combine to create one mega symbol which also generates its own random multiplier. A 2×2 cluster can generate a x5 or x10 multiplier, while 3×3 symbols come with a much higher x35 or x500 multiplier.
Key Trail
Some rock symbols land with a small key symbol attached to them. These keys are collected and transferred onto the key trail to the left of the grid. Every 3 keys unlock a reward which can include one of the following:
- A random multiplier of up to 500x that is assigned to a rock symbol on the grid.
- An instant cash reward that can be as high as 500x your selected bet.
