Fruit Xtreme Slot Review

This isn’t the first review we’ve done on a fruity Playson slot, and it most likely won’t be the last. But there is obviously high demand from fans of the more classic approach, since Playson continues to deliver new and exciting versions of the classic fruit machine. Read our slot review below to find out what it is that makes Fruit Xtreme special.

Fruit Xtreme Bonus features

In terms of the Fruit Xtreme features, you won’t find many at all. This isn’t a game of free spins and bonus rounds, but a simple slot that builds excitement through stacked symbols and multipliers instead. We’ll go through each of the Fruit Xtreme bonus features below to give you more of an idea of what to expect.

Stacked symbols & multipliers

Occasionally during gameplay, you may see some of the brightly-coloured fruit symbols stack with matching symbols across a reel. Not only will this help give you more chances to win, if you see three stacked reels appear, you’ll be awarded a 3x multiplier for any win that occurs. Four stacked reels will award a 4x multiplier, and similarly, five stacked reels will award the highest multiplier of 5x your prize.

Wilds

Although a wild symbol is a common feature (even in a classic slot), there isn’t one present in Fruit Xtreme.

Scatter symbol

The Scatter symbol in Fruit Xtreme is a golden star on a red square background. 3 or more Scatter symbols in this fruity slot will award a win. Unfortunately, the Scatter symbols don’t trigger any bonus or Free Spins.

Free Spins & Respins

A Fruit Xtreme free spins round or respins round would have made this slot instantly more thrilling… but sadly the features are limited. In saying that, Playson is known to release separate versions of their slots with a twist, so there may be a Fruit Xtreme free spins no deposit slot yet to come.

Bonus Game

Being a classic fruit machine, Fruit Xtreme does not have a bonus game.

Fruit Xtreme Jackpot

Unfortunately, there is no Fruit Xtreme jackpot to play for, and this would have really made for an exciting addition. At the time of writing, we weren’t able to retrieve information about the maximum win possible, but if this slot is anything like Playson’s other slots, we’re sure it will be generous.

Keep your eyes peeled though, since as mentioned above, Playson does tend to release new versions of their existing slots… so there very well could be a Fruit Xtreme progressive jackpot slot in the mix.

RTP and Volatility

Though we haven’t been able to uncover much information about this slot at the time of writing, we can tell you that the Fruit Xtreme RTP of 96.3% is on the slightly higher than average side. Though it’s a simple game, we think it could be quite a lucrative one since the Fruit Xtreme return to player is on Playson’s generous side.

Fruit Xtreme’s volatility is on the medium range. This will be welcome news for players who enjoy slots with slightly higher volatility and the chance to win higher prizes.

Bonus Spins

Since this is such a simple slot, it’s hard to say how likely casinos are to offer Fruit Xtreme bonus spins. However, if you are seeking them out, your best chances would be at online casinos such as Videoslots, Play Frank and Goliath Casino, all of which carry Playson slots. Make sure you’re subscribed to their emails so you can look out for any bonus spins offers.

Fruit Xtreme Mobile

We haven’t yet had the chance to try this slot out on mobile ourselves, but considering all of Playson’s slots are easily accessible on mobile devices, we’re pretty sure Fruit Xtreme will be no exception.
