Chilli Heat Megaways Bonus Features

The Megaways version of Chilli Heat comes with updated bonus features. The respins bonus round has been extended and now has 7 reel modifiers, but the free spins feature has been removed, unfortunately. The Megaways mechanics is also new, as is the tumbling reels system, and you also have the Ante Bet function allowing you to double your chances at triggering the respin round at an extra cost. Tumble Feature

The tumble feature or tumbling reels is a pretty cool feature and one that the original release doesn’t have. You’ll see tumbling reels in action at the end of each spin whenever you’ve scored a winning combination. The winning symbols will disappear from the grid, making room for new symbols to fall into their places for a chance to score multiple wins on the same spin.

Wilds

Represented by the game’s heat-blazing logo, wild symbols in Chilli Heat Megaways substitute for almost all symbols when they land on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Money bags, which are the game’s scatters, are the only symbols wilds can’t replace.

Scatters

Each money bag or money symbol has a value of its own and lands anywhere on the reels except the special 4-symbol horizontal reel at the top of the grid. When 6 or more of these symbols hit the reels on the same spin, a respin bonus round activates.

Respins

The respins feature starts with 3 respins after you’ve landed 6 or more money symbols across the main grid. You’ll see the regular symbols fade away, leaving only the triggering money bag scatters in view on reels 2-5. The triggering scatters will stay sticky for a respin, along with any new money symbols that land during the feature. The new money symbols will also reset your respins count to 3 if at least one of them lands on the grid.
