Cash Pump review
From metal bands to Vegas-style online slots, Play’n Go seem to have no limits when it comes to slot themes… and the latest is set in a 50s-style petrol station. It’s all about fast rides and high action, and with a unique twist to the game grid itself, we’re all for it.
The first thing you’ll notice when you play Cash Pump is the layout. Instead of your traditional five reel, three row setup, you’ll see four individual grids, each with three rows and three symbols. These four grids can either work together or separately. For example, you can complete a payline in the base game by finding matching symbols across any of the grids; or you can trigger the free spins round by finding one scatter in each of the grids.

Cash Pump bonus features
Cash Pump may not be Play’n Go’s heaviest when it comes to features, but the features it does have are more than enough to keep things exciting. We’ll go through each of the features below to give you an idea of what to look out for during gameplay.
Free spins
The free spins feature is definitely the one you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for since it has the potential to get really out of hand. And when we say that, we mean it – there’s literally no limit to how many spins you can earn and how high the multipliers can go.
The feature is triggered initially by landing one scatter symbol in the centre of each of the four grids. You’ll be awarded seven free spins, each with a random multiplier of between 1x and 4x. If you land four more scatters during the round, you’ll retrigger another five free spins – and this can just keep going as long as you keep finding four more scatters.
What’s more, each time you retrigger the round, the multiplier will be doubled. So 1x will become 2x… up to 4x becoming 8x. And again, there is no limit to how high this figure can reach, so if you are lucky enough to keep bringing in those scatters, you could be in for some crazy-high prizes.
Wilds
The daredevil symbol is wild in Cash Pump, and will substitute for other symbols to help complete your paylines. The wild can also appear stacked across a reel – and when this happens, it will replicate itself in each of the grids.
Cash Pump jackpot
Though there’s no progressive jackpot in Cash Pump, there is a massive maximum prize of 10,000x your stake up for grabs. This is one of the higher Play’n Go prizes we’ve seen, so it’s definitely worth checking this slot out.
RTP and volatility
Like many Play’n Go slots, Cash Pump offers extremely high variance, so the bigger wins will come in less often. But like we mentioned earlier, they can be as high as 10,000x, so they’re certainly worth playing for. The return to player of 96.86% is also nice and generous, making this a potentially highly lucrative slot. And if you’d like even more guarantee, hit some slots with highest RTP.
Cash Pump on mobile
Play’n Go has definitely made strides to optimise Cash Pump for mobile – but seeing as the split grid system does make it harder to see on a smaller screen, we recommend playing this slot on desktop.
