Whenever a wild hits it comes with a random multiplier that caps at 25x during base game spins. This isn’t applied to the wins wilds form part of though. Instead, it is collected at the end of a round and applies to any future wins you land with the tumble feature. If you continue to land more wild symbols, their values are added to the existing win multiplier and similarly applied to wins from future tumbles.

There’s a lot I enjoyed about Beware the Deep Megaways. The excellent visuals and wealth of features make for a very fun time at the reels, but I did take issue with the video slot’s win potential.

Regular symbols have some low payouts and although these can be improved with the win multipliers, the 10,000x max win cap is still rather low.

So, while Beware the Deep Megaways has a lot to offer, it’s held back by some relatively low payouts.
