As part of AG Communications, HighBet online casino has some big sister sites to live up to, many of which I have reviewed. Although there is a big HighBet welcome offer with fairly generous terms, the site lacks any serious promotions geared toward current members and relies heavily on network promotions like Drops & Wins. I didn’t really find anything of note in that department, but these kinds of promotions are always changing, so there may be something interesting in the future.

HighBet Welcome Bonus

The HighBet welcome offer promises up to £50 and 50 free spins. This is not a fixed bonus, though. It’s a 100% matched deposit offer, so your deposit (£10 or more) will be doubled up to £50, and that’s the most you’ll get if you deposit more than £50. You’ll get the spins (fixed to the Starburst slot) as long as you meet the £10 minimum.

For example, I deposited £10, so the HighBet welcome offer gave me an extra tenner and 50 spins.

One of the terms that concerns me regards Skrill and Neteller. Usually, if I see these web wallets mentioned in an offer, it’s because they are excluded completely. That doesn’t seem to be the case with the HighBet welcome offer but it does state that the casino may invalidate the bonus if the player uses these methods and then bets £2.50 or more of the bonus amount.

It’s an odd term, and considering the issues I’ve had with these methods in the past, I recommend avoiding them where possible for the HighBet welcome offer. There are a few network promotions (including Drops & Wins, a favourite of mine), as well as occasional reload promotions offering free spins and matched deposit offers, but these are few and far between.

HighBet customers don’t have a lot to choose from, but it’s certainly not barren.

HighBet Loyalty Club

I had heard there was a HighBet loyalty club. It is mentioned in other reviews, and when I first visited the site, a “Loyalty Club” link appeared in the footer, only to disappear when the page properly loaded.

I couldn’t find any information on the site, so I contacted live chat. They told me that the loyalty club had been removed. They didn’t go into detail except to say it was a result of “industry changes”, but it means players can’t benefit from regular perks and prizes like they once did.

Interestingly, they said that it was removed in 2020, but the site didn’t launch until 2021. I enquired if this message was the result of it being removed across all sister sites, and they confirmed, implying HighBet had never hosted a loyalty club since its launch.

I’m not sure if this is a result of other reviewers making a mistake in the past or if the customer support team had their wires crossed, but what’s important is that there is no loyalty club right now.

It’s a shame, as it would have made for a good addition, but to be fair to the casino, many sites have removed their loyalty clubs.

Wagering Requirements

The HighBet welcome offer has a wagering requirement of 35x. This applies to the bonus credits as well as all winnings from your free spins. It may change on other bonuses, though, so check the terms and conditions first.

HighBet has a good variety of slots, including many sport-themed games that tie into the sports betting side of the site (football, basketball, horse racing, etc.). It also has a list of the UK’s favourite slots, such as Book of Dead and Big Bass Bonanza.

The inclusion of Blueprint Gaming gives HighBet access to Jackpot King progressive jackpot slots, which include some of the industry’s best progressive games. There are fixed jackpot games, too. I definitely wasn’t short of options in this department.

The mobile site on HighBet is a lot cleaner and easier to use than the desktop version. I tried approaching the site as a new user from both a desktop and phone and had a much easier time with the latter.

It was clearly designed with a mobile-first approach, and even though I use a laptop for reviews and to play, I would always use my tablet or smartphone for this.

There is no app download on the HighBet website, and you won’t find one in either the iOS or Google Play Store. That might change in the future, but as things stand, you have to use the mobile site.

I always like to use the live chat as a non-member and a current member. In the first instance, I asked for confirmation that they had no loyalty scheme. They tried to direct me to the FAQs (understandable), allowed me to ask a question, and then asked for my name, email, and D.O.B before leaving me waiting for 10 minutes. They provided the answer I needed, and 10 minutes isn’t too bad, so no complaints for me.

It was a similar story when I joined. The support was also fairly quick and very helpful. There is no telephone support, though.

HighBet Overall User Experience

I wasn’t a huge fan of the HighBet experience on desktop. The navigation—bold blue sliders, big chunky grey links stacked in columns along the bottom—looked like a poor design choice at first. It was only when I used the site on iOS and Android that these made sense, as what seemed too big and chunky on desktop looked clean and streamlined on mobile.

It’s a dynamic website, which means it adapts to your device. That’s great for mobile users, but it doesn’t look the best on desktop.
