Betrino sports over 2,000 online casino games, as well as a practically endless supply of promotional offers including deposit bonuses, reload deals, free spins and cashback deals. While I quite enjoyed the game selection on offer, I had some issues with the site’s overall performance, as well as the customer service and wagering requirements. It makes for an overall mixed bag which fails to deliver on all fronts.
Read my in-depth review below to get a first-person account of my experience at Betrino. From signing up to claiming promotional offers, playing games and more, I’ll walk you through all you can expect from this online casino.
Pros & Cons
The game library at Betrino is fantastic and it supports it with a loyalty program and countless promotional offers. But poor performance, issues with customer support and high wagering requirements hold it back from being a definite choice.
- More than 2,000 excellent online casino games
- Fantastic variety of deals for new and existing players
- Rewarding loyalty program
- Great mobile compatibilityGreat mobile compatibility
- Slow customer support
- Terrible site performance
- Steep wagering requirements
Betrino Login – How to Sign Up
Online casino registration takes only a few minutes to complete, and Betrino is no different. I managed to set up my account quickly as you can see from the below steps.
- Visit Betrino – First things first. I started by heading over to Betrino.com. The homepage immediately gave me an idea of what to expect, with a mix of available games, promotional offers and sportsbook bets.
- Access the Registration Form – I clicked the Register button to open my account. This is in the screen’s top right corner, right next to the Login shortcut.
- Enter Account Information – The first page asked me to enter my email, preferred password and phone number. I also had to agree to the terms and conditions and confirm that I am above 18. Be sure to pick a secure password that follows the site’s requirements.
- Enter Personal Information – Next up are the personal details. I entered my full name, date of birth and gender here and had to agree (or disagree) to receiving promotional material from the casino. I decided not to go for the marketing material and the site was quick to double check with me in case I had changed my mind.
- Enter Additional Details – Lastly, I had to enter my address and preferred currency. The site is locked to the UK, so you can’t change the currency or country, but the address function is very helpful, automatically filling in the rest of the details as I started to type it in.
- Finalise the Process – To finish registration, I simply hit the Submit button and the site redirected me to the cashier page, ready to make a deposit and start playing.
Betrino Bonuses
I’m a sucker for a good bonus deal, so I was pleased to see that Betrino is full of promotional offers, with the welcome bonus being the start of a long list of bonuses, most of which can be claimed every week. The site has a mix of both seasonal offers which expire after a period and set deals which you can claim regularly.
These include a weekly and weekend cashback offer, as well as midweek free spins, Saturday free spins and a weekly Sunday reload bonus.
Betrino Welcome Bonus
The first of the Betrino promotions is the welcome offer, which you can claim as a new player when making your first deposit. It entitles you to a 200% bonus of up to £50, as long as your deposit is over the £20 minimum requirement.
It all sounds well and good at a glance, but once I read the fine print, I realized the deal comes with a 50x wagering requirement. That can significantly change the value of the bonus, even if you get 30 days to clear it. The deal also carries a maximum win cap of 3x your bonus. So, if you claim the full £50, you can only win up to £150, after clearing the wagering requirements.
It can still be a somewhat lucrative promotion, but I’m not very keen on having such high wagering requirements on a relatively small bonus.
Betrino No Deposit Bonus
At the time of writing this review, there is no Betrino no deposit bonus available. All the deals offered by the casino require a deposit of some sort, but who is to say that this won’t change in the future? It would be great to get some bonus cash or free spins to go with the welcome bonus (as long as they don’t have the same ridiculous wagering requirements).
Betrino Birthday Bonuses
Despite having a loyalty program, to my knowledge, Betrino doesn’t offer a birthday bonus. It’s a shame not to get a small reward on your special day, but to be fair, with the sheer amount of promotional offers you get here, you’re still bound to claim a new deal on your special day.
Betrino Loyalty Bonuses
As soon as I completed registration, I was added to the Betrino loyalty program. This is a traditional, tiered structure, where you gain points by depositing and making real money wagers. You can also complete missions to earn more points, such as making a first deposit and wagering on specific games.
The more points you gain, the higher your level and the better the bonuses you receive. To claim these bonuses, you’ll need to head over to the loyalty store and buy them using your loyalty points. You can get bonus cash, free spins, cashback deals and more.
While I liked the general structure of the loyalty program, I would have liked to see some additional perks being added for the top tiers like a personal account manager, faster withdrawals and tailored bonuses.
Wagering Requirements
Anyone who reads my reviews knows how much I despise high wagering requirements and unfortunately, Betrino falls into that problematic category. The online casino has placed a 50x wagering requirement on all its promotional offers, including the welcome bonus, reload deals and free spins. Luckily, the two cashback deals give you real money back with no wagering requirements at all.
50x is quite a steep figure, especially considering the available promotional offers are relatively small. Take the welcome bonus as an example. If you claim the full £50 bonus, you’ll need to wager the equivalent of £2,500 before you can withdraw any potential winnings. It’s a ridiculous requirement which seriously limits your chances of having any winnings left to withdraw at all.
While I understand that online casinos must of course make sure their bonuses are spent on the site, a 50x requirement feels unnecessarily high.
Slots Available at Betrino Casino
The Betrino game library is largely dominated by video slots, and I got to browse through more than 1,500 individual titles. It’s a fairly impressive collection, featuring all of the popular classics from renowned developers such as Microgaming, ELK Studios and Big Time Gaming.
During my time at the casino, I tried to get as much variety as I could and found video slots with all kinds of different mechanics, including Megaways, Hold and Spin bonuses and Collect symbol bonuses. I was pleased to find some of my all-time favourites too, including Fire in the Hole (Nolimit City), Dragon’s Fire Infinireels (Red Tiger) and Immortal Romance (Microgaming).
The slot selection is easily one of my favourite things about Betrino, offering a fantastic mix of traditional classics, as well as modern releases with advanced mechanics and breathtaking graphics.
Progressive Slots at Betrino Casino
While high-volatility slots can deliver some incredible prizes, nothing quite compares to the behemoth-sized rewards that can come from progressive jackpot video slots. There are over 120 jackpot slots available, with a smaller portion of that figure being progressive jackpots. Of course, while the regular jackpots still give you big wins, they’re limited when compared to their progressive counterparts.
I was glad to see games from a couple of popular progressive jackpot networks, including several Age of the Gods titles. My favourite picks from this selection included Age of the Gods: God of Storms (Playtech), Wheels of Flame Powerplay Jackpot (Eyecon) and Dragon’s Luck (Red Tiger).
Games Section at Betrino Casino
The entire game library at Betrino Casino hosts more than 2,000 table games, live casino games and video slots. It’s a great selection, featuring some of the most popular developers in the industry, including NetEnt, Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play. It’s safe to say that there’s something here to suit everyone’s taste, with some niche games being included too, such as bingo and scratchcards.
But while I like the selection of games on offer, I wasn’t too keen on the game library’s design. Sure, the site lets you filter according to several categories that help you get more specific with your search. But the actual results shown are pretty awkward.
Take the providers category as an example. Rather than having a list of providers to choose from, you’re simply given the entire game library displayed from beginning to end and separated according to the provider. So, unless the provider you’re looking for happens to be at the top of the page, you’ll need to scroll endlessly to find their games.
Luckily, the search function is immensely helpful, and I ended up using it to search according to provider instead.
Casino Table Games
As per usual, the table game section at Betrino Casino is the smallest section, with just over 40 titles to choose from. It still manages to pack a punch, with several variations of popular table games on offer.
Blackjack is the most popular one here and you get variations such as Classic Blackjack Multihand, Vegas Downtown Blackjack and Atlantic City Blackjack from Switch. Roulette is just as present with both the European and American versions available, together with more niche variations such as Epic Strike Roulette 9 Masks of Fire (Switch), 100/1 Roulette (Inspired) and Space Invaders Roulette (Inspired). There are also a handful of other games available like Baccarat Punto Banco (Red Tiger), Casino Solitaire (Gamevy) and Casino Stud Poker (Play’n GO).
Betrino Live Casino
There are just over 80 live casino games to choose from, including live versions of roulette, blackjack and baccarat. These are mainly provided by Evolution Gaming and Playtech with several high payout options to choose from.
Some of my favourite picks included games like Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack Live (Playtech), Salon Prive Roulette (Evolution) and Prestige Roulette (Playtech). The only odd thing here is that while there are only a handful of game shows available, the casino doesn’t give them their section as it did with blackjack, roulette and baccarat.
At first, I thought the Betrino simply didn’t offer any game shows, and I had to sift through the entire 120-game selection to find them. It makes life just a bit more unnecessarily complicated, but it’s ultimately not a dealbreaker. The meagre selection of game shows includes Big Bad Wolf Live, Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live and Buffalo Blitz Live from Playtech.
Betrino Bingo
Bingo is not as popular as the other online casino games, but Betrino still gives us a handful of options. There are six games to choose from including Bingo 90, My Bingo Hall and Reel Fruity Bingo.
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods Available
Betrino comes with a good selection of payment methods that can handle your deposits and withdrawals. It includes a handful of e-wallets and debit card providers, but there is no support for direct bank transfers or cryptocurrency solutions. Of course, all of the deposits and withdrawals you make are in Sterling.
From all the available options, I opted for PayPal since it’s fast, safe and efficient. I simply entered my account details on the deposit page and funded my account with an initial £100. This gave me the full £50 welcome bonus too. The process was speedy and straightforward, and my funds appeared in my account instantly.
When making deposits (and withdrawals), you’ll need to keep the minimum and maximum restrictions in mind. These amounts vary accordingly depending on the payment provider you’ve chosen to go with, as you’ll see in the sections below. The same applies to withdrawal processing times.

Betrino on Mobile
At JohnSlots, we think you should be able to enjoy your online casino games whenever and wherever you like, which is why mobile casinos are so important. Betrino works seamlessly on mobile devices, and I spent quite some time playing through a Chrome browser on my Android phone. All the site’s promotions, features and games are present, all of which are identical to the ones you’d get on a desktop. You can access Betrino on any modern mobile browser, across tablets and phones running on both Android and iOS.
Betrino Mobile App
I also had a go at the Betrino mobile app, which you can download from the Google Play Store. It essentially gives you a similar experience to what you get through a mobile browser, with a few minor changes in design and a slight increase in performance. The only downside with this is that the app ends up taking up space on your phone, so make sure you have enough storage for it. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an iOS version of the app yet, but hopefully this will change soon.
Betrino Customer Service
Whenever issues come up at online casinos, I want them to be ironed out as soon as possible. Luckily, Betrino comes with 24/7 live chat and email support which you can get in touch with at any time of the day and night. Yet when I tested the live chat service, I got a less-than-optimal experience.
At first, I was answered by a chatbot that tried to give me more generic answers to my questions. While I understand that this can help in some cases, it took me a while to finally convince to bot to put me in contact with a customer service representative. It took well over six minutes to finally get through to someone, which is far from ideal.
On a more positive note, the site also has a great FAQ section with specific categories and a search function to help you find more information on games, payments, account management and more.

Betrino Overall User Experience
Although the Betrino site looks good in general, I have several issues with the way the site’s navigation and performance.
First of all, the site continuously kept giving me pop-ups for different reasons, nagging me to make a deposit and sign up for marketing material. After several notifications, it got seriously annoying. The main menu also kept doing this annoying thing where it would automatically close into its smaller version, only showing icons.
Having been new to the casino, I couldn’t tell what the icons represented, especially when the games section didn’t even have an icon. I had to instead keep maximizing the menu every time to understand which links I needed to click on.
But perhaps the most frustrating issue is that every time I opened my loyalty program page, the site would constantly keep closing it. This happened several times in different instances, which slowly became more and more infuriating.
Lastly, loading times are quite bad, taking several seconds for a simple page to load, even when using a connection of well over 500Mbps.
It’s a shame that the site’s navigation and performance are so poorly optimized, but it’s hopefully something that the operator can fix soon.
Is Betrino legit?
Betrino is one of the safest online casinos you can play at, with high levels of security guaranteed through 128-bit SSL encryption. The site also holds licenses from the UKGC and the MGA, two of the strictest regulators in the gaming world. These regulators make sure that the site offers fair and safe games, promotions and payment providers, with regular audits being held to make sure those standards remain in place.
The online casino also comes with some handy responsible gambling tools such as the ability to set daily, weekly and monthly limits on deposits, wagers and losses. You can also take a time out or self-exclude yourself from the site at any time.
If gambling has become an issue in your life, be sure to get in touch with organisations such as GamCare, Gaming Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous. These groups can provide you with the help you need.
Reliability of Betrino
Betrino launched in 2021 and is run by ProgressPlay Limited, a casino operator that runs 45 online casinos including Bet Steve, Lotto Zone and Lucky Pro Casino. So, you can rest assured that it’s a reputable company that has years of experience working in the industry. As I mentioned above, the site is also regulated by top organisations that make sure it is as safe as can be.
Betrino Customer Reviews and Rating
If you head over to Trustpilot, you’ll see a barrage of negative comments with some positive ones peppered throughout. While I’m not one to disparage the concerns and experiences of players, a lot of the comments I read seemed to suggest that the players didn’t read the terms and conditions carefully and got some nasty surprises along the way. I’m looking at you wagering requirements.
But several players talk about the positive experience they’ve had, with one user in particular saying, “Don’t know what the bad reviews are about my experience has been outstanding”.
How Betrino Compares to Similar Brands
When comparing Betrino to a casino like Casushi, the site holds up well with an even better selection of live casino and table games on offer. In general, Betrino has a much stronger game library, although Casushi does arguably offer a better customer support experience.
It also does well when compared to O’Reels Casino, with a much better game library, no imposed transaction fees and way more table games. Of course, O’Reels then comes with better overall performance and better iOS support.
